Internet-based lenders are good at
getting websites in front of you... but may "cherry-pick" buyers,
leaving folks with credit glitches on the back burner and focusing on the easy loans.
I don't want my clients
treated like that.
No matter what lender you use... this is likely the only house you'll buy for a
while. Our team generates millions in loans each year. You won't be "on the back burner"
with a lender I deal with regularly.
In the past 20
years I've made past mistakes in
lender selection , and I'm picky about that
issue now. Even strong companies have weak links. The individual
makes a difference. Far as I've seen there are more weak links than
not.
Maybe the friend
of the guy at the water-cooler will be the exception. Could
be. I'm the one my clients look to when he isn't, and I don't
own a wand. Should a problem arise, I have a better chance of
helping if my buyers heed the suggestion below.
